We enjoyed the Ryman Auditorium the most out of all 3 tours they offered. We found the museum tour very boring. We were told it could take 1-2 hours...we were done in about 15-20 minutes. (Basically because most of the artists were not ones we were familiar with and skipped by some of it.) We had the audio tour, which we paid additional for... ...
We have been the the CM Hall of Fame three times now. It is fantastic. I could spend days there. We have visited museums in major cities and small towns all over the U.S. and Europe. We have never enjoyed one as much as this one.
The history is interesting and fun but the music puts gas in my tank.

Made this part of our trip to Memphis and Nashville this summer. The hall of fame is a great place to visit, it has so much history of country music and how it began. We spent over three hours touring, it is well worth the money.
I went with a friend of mine not knowing exactly what to expect. Both of us had "chills" multiple times as we walked through the three levels of the Country Music Hall of Fame. We were both quite impressed!
As stated above, the cost of admission is pretty high, so I probably wouldn't drag a large family here. The building is beautiful however, and you don't need to be a country music fan to visit. I will say that you only need to visit once, cause once you've seen it, you've seen it all. The staff is sort of rude and stuffy as well. This is one place you can skip visiting if you're coming to Nashville.
What a great experience, well worth the admission price.I found the self guided tour to be excellent, no rush to hurry. The staff were friendly and helpful
FIRST TIME I CAME 1994, WAS TO ONE MUSEUM, LATER I CAME BACK TO SEE IT AGAIN AND THEY HAD BUILT A NEW MUSEUM. THE NEW ONE IS FANCIER. THERE ARE PLAQUES IN THE NEW MUSEUM AND THE THING I LOVED LITTLE TV'S OF THE PEOPLE ACTUALLY PERFORMING. ALTOUGH THIS WAS COOL, I MISS THE OTHER FEEL OF THE MUSEUM, WHERE YOU COULD WALK UP TO THE ITEMS, CARS, ...
