Awesome hotelWe stayed 1 night on nov. 1st 2008, hotel is awesome the room was small but ok not worth over 200 dollars though.Parking was $18 plus tax, which I think is crazy when you are staying there. Would visit again but probably not stay the night.OVERALL

Don't Eat at the Cascades Seafood!!!!Keep in mind this review is not for the atmosphere of the hotel itself (which I would give 5 Stars) but rather the restaurant in the hotel. While the hotel has a phenomenal indoor garden and tropical atmosphere the "Cascades" is highly overpriced and the quality of the food during my dining experience was horrendous. OUTSTANDING!!We stayed at this hotel on our way home from alabama and we had know idea what to expect when we got there we did not have a reservation so we asked them what was available they gave us a suite for $139 per night we all thought that was an extremely good deal for the atmosphere of the place. AMAZING INDOOR GARDEN HOTELWe did not stay at the hotel, but went to see it. Pictures do not do it justice. It is so beautiful. I took tons of pictures. The prices of restaurants and shops were a bit pricey, but I loved walking around and looking at the flowers, plants, and river that runs through. Opryland HotelIf you are coming to Nashville, this is the place to stay, IMHO. My husband and I received an email promotion to stay there for only $99/night. We had a king bed and were upgraded to a room with a terrace view of the Cascades lobby. We went to sleep with the sound of the waterfall right outside our terrace doors. Gaylord Nashville DungeonsWe stayed here 3 nights for a convention and was looking forward to our stay. We left very dissapointed and still feel stupid for not leaving and staying across the street.
If you have ever stayed at a nicer place than basic chain hotels you will be dissapointed too.

Dingy, TerribleReserved a king bed with my wife for romantic getaway and got 2 separate beds. "We don't guarantee bed size" "Try to switch tomorrow" When we called tomorrow we got the same response but followed by a curt "There is no way you are going to get a king this weekend"

Beautiful -- no complaintsVery friendly staff, impeccable room -- the pool looked terrific. I would reccomend this hotel to anyoneI was fortunate to be able to stay at your beautiful hotel during Christmas 2007. We were in the Cascades and it was such a lovely room. I am a hugh linens person, so i immediately checked out the bed. The mattress, the sheets, and of course all different style pillows on the bed to chose which one is right for you.
