Food is excellent and I have eaten their at least one time each week for the last year or two. Who care about the other things when the food is so far above the other resturants in Nashville. Ambiance and service could improve some but that depends on the waiter you get, some are much better than others especially if they know you are a regualar.

I have been a frequent diner of Basante's over the years, starting with the Days Inn location @ West End Ave. I have overindulged in spirits and food many times at it's sister location in Green Hills. I used to find the food amazing, service exceptional and it's atmosphere appealing.
