The River Walk was fun, but if I had to do it again, I would not spend money on the monorail and museum. Both were a little bit of a let down. By all means visit the River Walk. You'll enjoy it.

No one would ever think that this attraction had so much to offer RIGHT in the middle of downtown Memphis...RIGHT in the middle of the Mississippi River. It brings diversity to the list of Memphis attractions. I recommend it as a MUST see for ANYONE visiting Memphis and even for other local Memphians who like to 'play' downtown.

If you are planning a trip to Memphis, I would think about going during "Memphis in May." It is held near Mud Island and you can experience the GREAT Mississippi River itself; the best of live music - THE BLUES; great Southern food; friendly people. And if you make your reservation soon enough, you could stay at the Peabody Hotel! See the "ducks walk" everyday at the Peabody!

Mudd Island was a very enjoyable place to visit. I really enjoyed the scale model of the mississippi River. The fact that you can walk in and over the model was really fun.If I get back to Memphis I would go back.

I like this place. It is a fun place to take your family too. You get to go down the Missippii rive in Mud City. Where else could you go.

I had a friend come in town from Baton Rouge for a weekend and decided one of the places I would take her to was Mud Island so can see the Mississippi River from another view point. But the was algae everywhere. And when we reach what was supposed to be the gulf, it was just plain gross!!! It was a waste of money and for the cost of a drink and everything else, you would think they could take better care of the place.

Waling along the miniturized copy of the Mississippi river was very cool. The historic restored World War II bomber The Memphis Belle is a must if you like history.

This is a good summer spot for families. The monorail is a unique experience and is exciting without being too scary for younger children. The model Mississippi River is fun for all ages.
