Overton Park is the Memphis version of Balboa Park in San Diego, or Central Park in NYC. Of course it's not as big, but niether is Memphis. Nature walk wonderful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/25/06
Find the Old Forest Nature trails and check out the trillium, wild phlox, oaks and hickories, May Apples and great birding in March! 170 acres of old forest according to the literature, though I didn't get to explore it all. Very nice respite in the middle of a city!
