it IS the best!

I've lived in Memphis 2 years now, been to more BBQ places than I can remember, and Corky's is the best. I would go just for the BBQ anyway, but they also have great service and it's CHEAP! love it. If you have to pick one BBQ place in Memphis, this is it.

Just like I thought it would be, Corky's did not disappoint. BBQ Sandwich is a great value. The entire lunch for two was under $20.

The best ribs we've ever had! Onion loaf was fantastic appetizer. Our waiter was a joy. Can't say enough! We will be back!

I recently visited Corky's Barbecue while on a trip to visit Graceland. The food was superb!!!!I will return when I return to Memphis. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Food was great, service OK, it was busy as heck but fun. I went with the dry rub and put sauce on it at the table.

I didnot like the barbecue and barbecue ribs. The wet rub ribs was tough and all the internet it stated they fall off the bones. The coleslaw and pull barbecue and ribs was bland. The sweet tea was not sweet.

However; the barbecue chicken, catfish and hush puppies was delicious.

I would recomment the catfish, hush puppies and barbecue chicken.

First visited in 1999 working in Memphis area doing Y2k work. Couldn't wait to get back and take the wife and kids. You need to open a shop closer to the D.C. area!!!!!

Definitly worth the road trip!

That was ALWAYS one of our stops anytime we were traveling to or through Memphis! I miss Corky's - Colorado just can't seem to come close to Corky's. And even though I am a Colorado girl, I still order my bbq sandwiches 'Corky style' - coleslaw on the top! I would recommend this place to everyone! "Corky - please come to Colorado!"

Still the Best I've Ever Had

Been to BBQ places in Texas, KC, TN and all over. Corky's is still the best in my opinion. The rest are good but Corky's sets the standard.
We had to wait about 35 or 40 minutes but spent that time walking up and downt he street and peering into Sun Records and other shops.
Interior is fine...nothing fancy. But I wasn't there for the decor.
Well worth the wait.
