This place was expensive ($18 for an adult), but it was still worth seeing. My favorite was the largest croc on display in the U.S. It was over 20 feet long!! I've never seen anything so huge. It was interesting to walk around and see all the different types of alligators. I also got to see a feeding show, which was interesting because many of the crocs jumps out of the water to catch the food.

We stayed at Myrtle Beach Barefoot Resort and while with that company at Barefoot Resort, we visited Alligator Adventure.
I highly recommend Alligator Adventure as a great learning environment for the kids.
We also loved the entire Barefoot Landing experience. Myrtle Beach Barefoot Resort provided a shuttle service to their Oceanfront Beach ...

This was my first visit to Alligator Adventure. while a bit over-priced, it was very entertaining and educational. My two nieces (ages 11 and 10) and my nephew (age 8) loved seeing ll of the reptiles and enjoyed the interactive show.
The adults in the group enjoyed the animals and exhibits as well. However, it is a small park and you can go thru ...

I went to North Myrtle for a golf retreat in November, and needed to kill some time before meeting up with others who were driving there. So, I stumbled on to Alligator Adventure and was pleasantly surprised. It was a blast, right on the main Hwy 17 strip and just truely amazing.
I recommend it to everyone. For the reviewer who complained ...

we've been to the beach three times this year and every time we go to alligator adventure. it's true it doesn't change much but it's interesting to see the gators up close and it's well maintained and clean. there are many other animals to see plus informative shows and alligator feedings. lots of fun for all ages!

A little insight before you go
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/04/07
This park was amazing. Being a reptile enthusiast I feel that alot of the comments on here are uneducated. As for all the alligators lying very still, that is only because they are reptiles and are cold blooded. Unlike your dog, a mammal, which needs to exercise and exert energy these animals are the complete opposite. They lay very still to ...

just thought it was too expensive for what they have to offer. there certainly is not two days worth of entertainment. they let you come back the second day for free.
