Yes this experience was fun! Now we loved the jeeps---they are part of the whole experience. We are both beyond AARP ages and really thought the laid back atmosphere of this trip coupled with some genuine, thoughtful narrative and intriguing stops was a top plus for something special to do in Myrtle Beach. The young, newlyweds on our same tour ...

Awesome Tour!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/21/08
3 1/2 hours chock full of information. Virgil, the tour guide, was comical and kept the trip interesting and fun. Yes, the jeep has seen better days, but a fun way to travel. The jeep could be uncomfortable for the "senior" folks.
We even found a couple alligators on one of the islands and other wild life. Unfortunately the castle ...

Somewhat disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/08
Virgil the tour guide was very interesting and informative. The vehicle we traveled in was terrible. We were sitting facing each other (strangers) with our knees well past touching. We could not see the attractions that were pointed out. The shocks/springs had worn out years ago. It was hard to get in and out at the stops. The owner of the tour ...

a myrtle beach must do!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/09/08
Just had to write a comment or two on the Carolina Safari ZJeep Tours. My wife and I joined a group which had scheduled the tours. So glad they did. This was a real eye-opener about the area presented in a professional, exciting way. Our guide knew just how to present information on our sightseeing trek in big, big jeeps. He had the right ...

What as GOOD TIME!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/16/08
This is just such a good time. It has all kinds of interesting elements of history, nature, a cool jeep, a great guide named Virge vwho kept us laughing and charmingly entertained while sharing some fascinating sites and stories about this area. What an area it is too! We couldn't get over it. Been coming to the beach for a few years but ...

THE thing to do in Myrtle Beach.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/04/08
We took a tour this last weekend in August on the Carolina Safari. Although we've been coming to Myrtle Beach for years, we finally went on this tour which we have heard so much about. My husband, our teenage twins and our 10 year old went together. Each one of us had something we really liked the most but all of us enjoyed the whole tour too ...

Perfect way to learn about the Myrtle Beach area.
By Joetta Stone, 07/30/08
The first thing I did when I visited Myrtle Beach was go on a Carolina Safari jeep tour. It was really interesting and entertaining. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, as well as the flora and fauna. There were a lot of laughs too! By the end of the trip my group wanted to take Virgil, who lead our tour, back to ...

This was the BEST!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/29/08
My whole family loved this tour and I mean loved it. Our tour guide was so funny and involved with us and yet had so much fascinating information to share. we are so impressed with this area and the way it was shown to us on this tour. I think quality would be the operative word, it had substance but was very entertaining. Enjoyed the sequence ...
Called Carolina Safari Jeep Tours and gave them my credit card for a tour. No one ever called to cancel or showed up for the tour. I still haven't recieved a credit and no one has ever called to apologize or offer an explanation. I would NOT recomment Carolina Safari Jeep Tours. TOTAL SCAMMERS.
