Billboards and coupons are everywhere for this place. It's a major attraction, but doesn't have a major feel to it. High priced entry fee for the little you get to see. Staff was not very friendly or knowledgable. Food was extremely high priced and sat under heat lamps for hours. Only good part was their great underwater shark exhibit.

The Aquarium was great has never been alot of people in there to try to get through when we have went there. It has always been a great experience they now offer the over night stay for the kids which I think is cool. I would definately recommend going there the underground tunnel is the best it made me feel like I was really in the water with ...

Loved it!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/29/06
Ripley's Aquarium was the highlight of my trip. I was able to take a family of four to visit for only $20 and it was worth so much more. We went late in the evening so it was not busy at all. Loved getting close to the sharks and fish. I will return to Ripley's Aquarium next year!

Absolutely wonderful!
By Dee, 06/04/06
I guess the first thing I have to say is that one of the best things was the military discount. If you are active duty, you get an awesome price for admission! The significant other, myself and the two kids got in for $14.50...a savings of $42! The kids LOVED everything. The Mars exhibit was awesome. They have several hands on things you can try ...

If you don't take your kidos they're missing out!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/31/06
Everything about this place is great. I have been to both Ripleys of the Grand Strand, and Ripleys of Smokies (Gatlinburg, TN). This is by far the best. It allows in a safe atmosphere to learn with your kiddos and discuss almost every major type of sealife. Price is fair, food is good, attendants are super. Will GO again.

Not worth the money or time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/09/06
It was way too packed and I felt more like cattle then a customer at this attraction. It was incredibly small, and way overpriced, and the staff were very frantic and unfriendly. My family and I also visited Waccatee Zoo and Alligator Adventure. The only one I would ever recommend to go and see is Alligator Adventure, because it's much larger, ...

The Titanic room was pretty neat! You got to actually feel how cold the water was at the time The Tiatanic went down.We got to pet some stingrays. Hold some horseshoe crabs. See some great waterlife. We are going again in 2006.The whole place was neat. Especially for the kids! When we got home we told everyone how much fun we had and to visit Ripleys Aquarium.

I think it to expensive and the lines are to long. I had two young boys and they wanted to leave. They said they would never take their kids when they got older because it was over priced. I would rather go to the Columbus Zoo.

I loved the all the fish, and meeting a shark face to face was quiet fun! I'll admit if I had'nt gotten the military discount it would have been very pricey, but all in all a fun day!
