This was definitely worth the trip to go there. Walking through a tunnel of water and fish and sharks swimming all around you is a memorable experience. You must go see it if you are in Myrtle Beach!

My husband and i went here as part of our honey moon and I absolutely loved it.

We have three small children, granted they have been to other Ripley Aquariums, but each one seems to have their ambience. The Titanic exhibit was excellent. The staff was courteous and very attentive to the kids. We had a wonderful visit. If I had to say anything negative, it would only be space. That really doesn't constitute a negative rating at all.

This place was way too busy. We barely had enough room to see anything. People were always shoving you out of the way and pushing you forward. I don't think we will be going back here. The cost was not worth it at all.

If you have never been to a good aquarium in your life and have nothing to compare it to, you might like it. If you visit on a very quiet, off-season day and have the place to yourself, you might like it. If you have free passes and nothing else to do, you might like it. Otherwise, you'll want to pass on this very average aquarium experience.

We enjoyed every minute here but I can see how it can get VERY crowded quickly. It is not a large building but when we went it was not very busy. It cost us (my wife and I) $35.00+ to get in and when we go back with the kids we plan on taking them to the aquarium (I am not sure but I think 12 & under are free, CHECK FIRST). We enjoyed the aquarium. I gave it an average rating because that's what it was... average. Nothing you wouldn't see at any other aquarium. It was ok. In fact, we travel to MB every year and my husband and I agreed we wouldn't visit again.
