Come on people!! The aquarium is a great attraction...It is not small ...just when all of you tourists come at once it sucks for everyone else...I am a local and i know not to go in the summer months when all the rotten tourists are there, and i get a discount, so there! You should consider yourselves lucky to come to our beach attractions, We ...
Of all the Ripley's attractions in Myrtle Beach, this is the only one worth going to. The rest are boring and lame. This aquarium is not the biggest or most exciting one you'll ever see, but while in Myrtle Beach, it IS worth a walk through. I will agree it is costly, but most things on vacation ARE costly. Young kids will surely enjoy it. ...
This was way too expensive for what you get. It is so over crowded and small that we didn't enjoy ourselves. They put more into the decorations than the tanks. We didn't find anything in the tanks especially interesting. This place has way more hype than it deserves. I've been to many aquariums and this was the worst. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Too Small for the Money

I have been to other aquariums, and this one pales in comparison. It only lasts about an hour, and it is so crowded that you can't even enjoy yourself. Most of the aquariums I have been to have a "flow" to them, but this one felt like a free for all. It is too pricey for such a small aquarium.
Not worth the admission price. $42 for 2 adults to walk through this place in 40 minutes. I had already visited the Ripley's Aquarium in the Smokies at Gatlinburg, Tennessee and this one was exactly the same. I expected better since it was near the ocean. If in Myrtle Beach I would reccomend that tourists avoid all the Ripley's rip-off attractions.

Too Expensive

We have taken our daughter several times. She is 6and never gets tired of the exhibits. While my husband enjoy going it's too expensive and usually so crowded people keep bumping into you and it's not a very good experience. I think if they would reduce their prices somewhat and have some sort of organization where everybody was't ...
The place took maybe 45 minutes to walk through. It is nice but not worth the money. if you have been to any other aquarium you def. will not enjoy this experience. I have been to the Pittsburgh Zoo and had a better time.
our kids never get tired of going, and we love it too,it's a priviledge to live in myrtle beach & have access to this without having to travel to florida or california for the kids to enjoy somthing special (nautical)
Small, takes only around 1 hour to go thru the whole aquarium. Very expensive. If you have small children they will enjoy it. If you have been larger aquariums then you won't enjoy this one.
we took our 6 grandchildren to the aquarium and i think the adults enjoyed it as much as the children. it was quite expensive for a family of 14, maybe they should give lower rates to children under 12. but, all in all, it was a great place to go.
