  • Amazing!
    By Crystal, 10/31/09
We only spent a few hours there because of time. My husband fought me to go, but he ended up really enjoying himself. Absolutely gorgeous! We didn't get to do the boat ride or any of the other extras, but just walking around the gardens was beautiful. I would go back.

This a wonderful place to visit. Great Live Oaks Trees and just great statues and peaceful grounds and settings. The boat ride was very interesting. This is a must to see! Would visit again and again.

There was nothing to dislike. It is amazing. I love the giant live oaks. The zoo really touched our hearts. This is a "must see" for anyone anywhere near Pawleys Island.

Love Brookgreen Gardens. Been there 3x's over the 4x's I've visited Myrtle Beach area. It is so serene! Simply amazing beauty and time went into all the peaces displayed, as well as the landscaping!
    A don't miss place! Enjoy!

I live about ten minutes away from Brookgreen and it's always been the best place to go.

I went there to camp during the summer when I was little which was a lot of fun, too. All the animals are wonderful, including wolves, deer, otters, alligators, water birds, prey birds, all kinds of birds, horses, chickens, and loads of banana ...

  • Most relaxing day
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/29/07
Brookgreen Gardens is the most amazing place! The variety of sculptures is wonderful. From Greek god and goddesses to any animal you can think of ( including an attack squirrel), to a childrens garden with all sorts of things to spark the imagination, it is great. The boat trip is well worth the small extra expense. The alligators alone are worth ...

  • An absolute "must" for art lovers
    By patricia, 05/04/07
If you like art of any sort, Brookgreen Gardens is not to be missed. I first visited there 53 years ago and return often! It is magnificent: "a restful place for the soul". A glass of wine and some light treats at the restaurant help make the time at Brookgreen even more enjoyable. It is amazing the number of "art lovers" ...

    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/03/07
This is the most spectacular place I have been in the low country of South Carolina. We loved ir so much that my fiance and I decided to get married at Brookgreen Gardens.

    That should say it all.

  • Wonderful experience!
    By leslie, 10/19/06
Acres of gardens, sculpture, animals, birds, so much beauty in one place. It takes more than one day to see everything, you get a 5 day pass with one 14.00 admission, a great value.
Huntington State Park is across the street and we brought a picnic lunch to enjoy over there afterwards. 5.00 admission to the park. Tour the Huntingtons winter home, a unique experience, and walk on the beautiful beach. Best day we spent in S.C.
