Food was excellent. The She Crab soup is the best, you must try it. They also have great specials like the salmon or the flounder.

Wonderful restaurant! We are locals and love the She Crab Soup. Best at the beach, by far. Can get crowded so get there early or be prepared to wait, but if you have to wait, the view of the ocean is worth it. Food is always wonderful and we are partial to the chef specials. We have never been disappointed and have taken friends and family there often. Highly recommend!

The Sea Captains House literally feels like a home. The atmosphere is not formal but not as casual as a chain restaurant either. The restaurant overlooks the water and is so quant. My husband and I went there for dinner the night we got engaged so it will always have a special place in our hearts.

I have visited the Sea Captain's restaurant almost every summer for years! My family, including my 4 year old son, loves the She-Crab soup. The ambiance and service are "over-the-top!" However, I can remember when this was a place that you had to get dressed up to visit. Now, I see everyone wearing T shirts and shorts. I still get dressed up to visit...it's a special place and I try to make the most of each visit.

good home-cooking,worth the 45 minute wait eventhough my grouper was overcooked; the server was more than willing to compensate; she did adjust the bill. Great salad and She-Crab soup
