We love this restaurant!!!!When were in town it is always a pleasure to have dinner at the Peninsula Grill. It is truly an outstanding experience!! The food is wonderful and you can not ask for better service or atmosphere! We absolutley Love this restaurant!!!! I may not eat expensive food on a daily basis...But, I went there with my fiance in Summer 2005, and we both thought it was wonderful. The crab & lobster cakes are to die for. It was a little louder than I was hoping for a romantic dinner on a Friday night, but the waiter was wonderful and very helpful. Not 4 Diamond experienceI am a concierge and my guests have been coming back from this restaurant uninspired. This is a restaurant that should wow its guests, but do not. Our first timeWe attended with some good friends - and some good friends of theirs. Table for six was a last hours accommodation (so we could be included in the group), and though it was near the kitchen, it was a good spot.

Big City Ambience, Small Town CharmBy far, this is one of the best establishments we've been to. No detail is left unattended to. The staff is knowledgeable and ready to please. Peninsula GrillThe Peninsula Grill in Charleston, SC is my favorite restaurant in the area. The ambiance, food and service are all five stars in my opinion. Great way to end or beginThank your very much shunessy (our waiter) and the staff at the peninsula grill my wife and I enjoyed ourselves very much. The food the ambience and especially the service that we recieved from the time we walked in the door (starting with the bartender) was truly exceptional. A trip to Charlston will not be complete with out a stop at the peninsula grill.
