We just returned from a romantic getaway in Charleston. This was our first trip there and had 82 Queen recommended to us by the Inn we were staying at. The best recommendation I have gotten so far.
As soon as you walk in you know you are somewhere special. The staff was excellent. The ambience was fantastic. Reservations were made last ...

A treat, no matter where you are from

This is one of our very favorite restaurants. The food is so special and presented beautifully. Eat outside in the twinkly garden if the weather is right but if not the old house is very special also. The servers act as though you are their only guest even on their normally busy nights. Best of all, they are open all day, not just the evening.

First time in Charleston. Researched resturant on the web. 82 Queen exceeded our expectations. Food was wonderful. Service was exceptional. As we told our waiter, 82 Queens rivals Antoines in New Orleans. Look forward to visiting again. Please leave the children at home.
had lunch soon after we arrived as soon as we stepped into the restaurant we knew we had arrived---the southern hospitality & food were just pefect

Old House with romantic decor. Please do not bring kids- leave something for the adults. The most wonderful she crab soup anywhere. Great service, great atmosphere, great regional cuisine.

I had a great crabcake sandwich at this wonderful restaurant. I ate in the bar area, but I am coming back with my fiance to enjoy dinner in the garden. Great food and enchanting ambiance.

Fabulous Traditional Southern Menu
By rmp_5201965, 07/23/06
Just returned from a short trip to Charleston. This was our first time there and for lunch we choose to eat at 82 Queen simply because we parked in the garage across the street. We were so glad we did. From the atmosphere, to the menu and food, to the service--everything was just superb. The She-Crab soup was divine and the fried green tomatoes ...

Enjoyed this unique and classic restaurant. My husband and I ate inside but would love to eat in the garden. Great menu, fresh food beautifully displayed on plate. We both had the Pork Tederloin and it was great!Looking forward to trying something new this year maybe Shrimp and Grits. Would definitely recommend this restaraunt for a special night in Charleston!
