Triggs has improved a great deal over the last five years. The fairways and especially, the greens, are just as nice as some of the private courses. The superintendent has done a great job, by far, the best public course in the state. Missing the greens off the back or hitting into some of the traps or hills will make you lose a shot every time. ...
The layout is about the best in the state. The course is not long but it plays like it is. There's always a problem if you get off the fairways or go behind the greens. For a municipal course, I think the condition is splendid. Would recommend it to anyone.
It is one of the best courses I have played. It is fun challenging course, right outside Providence. For newer golfers it is a shorter course that is easier to walk for anyone.
People around here really like this course. I think it's okay. It's just not as well kept as some of the outher courses I've played. But maybe that's part of the experience? They like long shrubbery, and a more shaggy, untrimmed feel to the course?
