Nice location and possibly haunted ? Noise from restaurant next door made sleep impossible.Nice people to do business with.

Lots of restaurants and cute shops. Great place to walk on a lovely afternoon.

Worst night we've ever spent. We travel a good deal and have been to Newport often, but this stay at Bannister's Wharf was a clear mistake. We barely got any sleep. Our bedroom window faced a large encased piece of machinery that throughout the night cycled on and off VERY LOUDLY. It truly was impossible to sleep.
The steps leading up to our second floor room were a menace.

Bannister's Wharf has a wonderful atmosphere in the warmer months. There are several great high-end restaurants to choose from. The small shops offer seasonal clothing and souvenirs. The view is breath-taking and the sunset cruise is worth the price.
