  • Picturesque, beautiful, clean, bring a kite!

    Pros: free state park, clean restrooms, picnic tables, BBQ pits, Ocean Drive, countryside trip getting there.
    Cons: ummmm, uummmmm,ummmmm. No cons I could think of!

  • Breathtaking views

    What can I say? We have been to Newport 5 times and Brenton Point State Park and Ocean Drive is our favorite spot.The views of the rocks and ocean are breathtaking. This is a wonderful place to relax and just take in the scenery or have a picnic lunch and fly a kite. A must see .

  • most picturescque and new england place to be

    a very clean park, with breathtaking ocean breakers, and to see all the different kites, and the professional kite flyers there, is just amazing. A one of a kind place to go, and enjoy for the day.

  • Free and relaxing

    The best time to go is at high tide. The waves crashing on the rocks are very beautiful and relaxing. The grassy area across the street is also very nice.
