Independence Hall is linked so closely to the formation of the United States. Visiting the building helps one to imagine the reality and the painstaking work our forefathers put into the formation of the Declaration of Independence.

Philly is OUR founding PLACE, and ALL in a short area, there is SOOOOOOOO MUCH anyone can do and GO.... it's GREAT !!!

It was incredible to stand in the room where both the Declaration of Independence AND the US Constitution were signed! Our tour guide was very informative and also very funny. It was very entertaining and the price was right - it was FREE!!! I would strongly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

The colonial architecture will take you back in time as you learn about the Constitution, our country's founding fathers and where the phrase "stand trial" came from. Nearby are many other historic places to see as well. These include the Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross House, Christ Church, the Edgar Allen Poe Historic Site, ...

Philadelphis is a great place to live. The Independence Hall still has the ability to bring you back to the 1700s. Try to get their early on Sunday, less cars and people. Sit in the park behind the Hall and close your eyes.

This facilities are outstanding. They accommodate a large crowd effectively. Parking was conventient, although not free. The docents were extremely informative, we left with a much better understanding of the time and experience of the people involved in winning the freedom we enjoy today.

This provided a great overview of American history, as basically, this is where it all started. Great tour guides, great sense of history, an enjoyable area of the city to amble about. I definitely reccomend it.
