Coming back to the US after visiting countries in the Far East and Europe I was appalled by the filth and litter everywhere in this airport. I will advise my friends when they visit the US to make sure Philadelphia is not on their itinerary. I would like to know why BWI and Reagan National are both great and clean and Philadelphia is so dirty. Could it be unions are too powerful there?

I agree with all the other reviews. Phillie is the worst airport...dirty bathrooms, employees hanging around the walkways or fooling around. Philadelphia baggage handlers lost my luggage 3 different times and my last trip through, they destroyed my new bag. I will do whatever I can to avoid this airport in the future.

The Philly Airport is the worst airport I have flown into or out of. The workers are always the most rude and unhelpfull of any airport I have used. Compared to the Pittsburgh Airport this airport should be condemned.

Just flew twice through Philadelphia on US Air. Bad experience - 40 minutes waiting for a gate arriving, on a Saturday night!! On Sunday, multiple delays, late plane then even later crew. I travel to the northeast often and hate that I have to stop at the Philly airport! The employees act like their place of employment is "The Hood", the airport is dirty, seats are split (and have been for years), and bathrooms are deplorable. The airport has not changed/improved in more than 10 years!

US airways rep in Philadelphia was very rude and unhelpful. Most of the workers there are that way. Also, the bathrooms were very dirty without any soap... Will avoid flying through Philadelphia in the future.
