I remember going to the zoo with my kids when it was a bit different. Always looked forward to taking advantage of the setting and having a picnic lunch. We had a family membership for years which encouraged us to take many short day trips there every month instead of one long day once a year. It was fun and educational. There are many more ...
the oldest zoo in america never gets old. The philadelphia zoo is one of the best in the country. You can't be too young or too old to enjoy the attractions.

It's one of the best zoo's I've been to and the employees are very pleasant. The atmosphere is great because I always see the animals out and they don't look unhappy. The food there was worth it too!
I love Zoos. I been to most every zoo from Maine to Florida, and I have to say that the Philadelphia Zoo is hands down the best. I have two small children and they have activities and access from infants to adults. AAA+
Must do in Philly... everything you want to do for the whole family. Great value for this day and age, as well. Don't forget to bring the kids! Weekdays are best

the tigers and lions were not there.its better if you go in the morning or around noon because thats when the animals are more atvacite.

We did however have a few problems on the ground as some of the signs confused us as to which direction to go. The Dodge Safari ride was a virtual ...
