Ever since I was a kid I've always loved going to the Philly Zoo. I haven't been there in years but I still have fond memories. The most memeorable was in 1983ish, can't remember the exact year but it was close to that. They had a baby Koala, for an eight year old that was the coolest animal I've ever seen and 22 years later I still remember it.

A good place for children to enjoy and them get away from all the TVs. Could use some more different animals, but other than that it's a great learning experience fro both yound and old.

The Philly Zoo is a great place to bring class trips. There is so much to do and see to keep the kids and adults entertained!! There are so many different species to see. The environment is clean and safe for kids. It was absolutely fun and I would highly recommend the zoo to anyone, who loves animals and learning! It is worth the money. The Philly Zoo is a wonderful place to explore, learn and have fun all at the same time.

Great place for family, lots of cute animals and clean. Really like the monkeyes. The walkin paths are safe and have no cracks in them.

I loved the layout of the park, with hours of things to look at. It's also a great place to take your kids, and if you don't have kids it's great to bring your significant other. The park was pretty clean and tidy. It's great to go out to a place that doesn't have fungus that can kill in their restroom. I highly recommened the Philadelphia Zoo for everyone of all all ages.

My family has been going to the zoo for years and have never been disappointed!! They have such a nice atmosphere and so much to see! The staff is very courteous AND well versed in all "zoo-speak." We especially love the monkeys!!

The Philadelphia Zoo is one of the best in the country. I have been going since I was a small child. It is a great experience!

PHILLY ZOO ALWAYS HAS SOMETHING NEW BUT HAS THE OLD. AT 32 WHEN I GO I FEEL LIKE A KID AGAIN. BRINGS BACK MEMORIES I HAVE AS A CHILD GOING EITHER WITH SCHOOL OR WITH FAMILY.BEST THING I THINK THE ZOO HAS IS THE ELEPHANT KEY. AS A KID WE WOULD ALWAYS TAKE TURNS USING IT TO HEAR ABOUT THE DIFFERENT ANIMALS.

The Philadelphia Zoo is a decent zoo. We get a membership there for the kids and it pays for itself in two visits. The parking situation is terrible though. The lot attendents do not keep up with spots that open up and will leave a lot closed even though there are 15-20 open spots. As of teh summer of 05, they are doing a major reconstruction of the carnivore house.
