I was born in Philadelphia in 1947 and the Zoo has always been a part of my life. Some of my fondest memories are of my Mother taking my brother and I to the Zoo and of My husband and I taking our children to the Zoo. I have since been all over the world and seen many Zoos and animal santuaries, but my thoughts always go back to the Philadelphia Zoo. Go! Enjoy!, Make wonderful memories!

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/14/06
Visiting the Philadelphia Zoo was a great adventure for myself and grandchrildren, the hard part is the traffic pattern and parking for the facility,Planning acceess and parking would increase attendance and revenues along with making it a more for more enjoyable experience for the public. The Zoo was super the access and parking a Visitors nightmare!

I have never been to a zoo before so I really enjoyed the Philadelphia zoo. They have a lot of different attractions and animals. It's a very clean and friendly enviroment. I had a great time and would love to go back again sometime.
it was soo cool!!!! there were so many animals like tigers, birds, flamingos, bears, snakes, penguins and many others. it was really clean but it smelled a little in the primate house but that was all.i wish i could go back!!!!

Great morning trip to the Zoo!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/22/06
Proces are a little high (16.95 for each adult plus $10 to park) but the zoo itself has a number of interesting exhibits. (The big cats were not on display, except to special members, as their exhibit was recently refurbished.)
The grounds were very well kept, lots of neat animal themed statues/sculptures, plenty of clean restrooms, and a Bank ...
