The collection is great, and it should be brought to a rank of NY Metro museum. The place is not well advertised, and it should have a better Location.
I loved ,I loved ,I loved ,I loved ,I loved ,I loved ,I loved ,I loved ,I loved ,I loved , I loved all the exhibitions, wonderfull, way to spend the whole day in phila
Born in Philadelphia, I've had a love affair with the Philadelphia Art Museum since I was old enough to take the City Line trolley to Bridge St. & catch the Frankford El & "go downtown". What building is more majestic, what setting better or bolder than this temple sitting up on the banks of a beautiful river? Some memories: Van ...
What more could you ask for? Whether your looking for a place to take your kids to or take yourself to, everyone should check out the Art Museum. It's almost completely different everytime I go which makes it even more interesting to go back to. The property around the Art Museum is just as entertaining as the art inside. Always something going on

My sister and I always take my Mom to the yearly attraction that the museum holds about specific artists. You get a headset to learn more about each person and why they created the works of art that are on the wall. It is an in-depth study perfect for the person, like me, who knows very little about art and art history.

I loved going to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. It's so clean and quiet. I really enjoyed every exhibit and how much work everyone put into each part of the museum to make it an enjoyable place to see. I can't wait to go back.

World Class Art Museum
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/24/05
One of the great art museums of the world in a fabulous setting. Perched high above the city on Fairmont, this is a must see when visiting Philadelphia. Bring you camera for your "Rocky" picture.
This museum was filled with a mind-boggling variety of art treasures. Of particular enjoyment to us were the stellar French Impressionist Collection of art, the restored rooms and the firearms. Wear comfortable shoes beacause it is a large building and you won't want to skip much.
