  • A must see for history buffs

There was a long line, but it moved fast. The museum and its contents were a great way to spend the time waiting.

  • Okay, kinda boring
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/14/08
It was nice to see such a great monumental piece of work.
A lot of security just to see a bell. Lots of intresting info on the walls about old US.
The building that houses the bell had intresting architecture, but it was a little hard to find from our parking garage.

  • Very Well Worth It
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/25/08
It was very easy to see one of the great historical monuments of the country. It was free and while we were there it was not crowded (on a saturday?) and while it was a little difficult to get a good picture with others surrounding it, it was a very cool trip.

It was the best thing I saw all day. To see a piece of history, something that would have rung for freedom and independence. That once was touched and carefor by our founding fathers George Washington, Ben Franklin, etc. and now here it is in front of little ole me. Wow. It was very much worth the line, the inspection, and reading about the ...

  • Don't go
    By Tim L, 04/08/08
It was such a bust, I thought I was going to see a giant monstrosity of a bell, but when I arrived it was smaller than the one in the Polar Express. It could have easily fallen out of Abraham Lincoln's pocket and broke. Plus when I arrived it wasn't even there. I was told it was in Lawrence, KS.

  • Nice
    By LoriC, 03/27/08
We had a nice day to walk around. No line on a Wed around 11am. Security goes through bags. Nice displays and you can get right up to the bell. Good pics. Short enough diaplay for little kids. I went with a 11 yr old boy and 5 yr old girl. Nice piece of history. Free.

  • SO AWSOME!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/20/08
The liberty bell will always be a great thing to see because it is part of American history but also because of what it simbolizes. People should definetly go see this thing, especially if you haven't seen it yet. It is so great and you will learn a lot about it and what it stands for. I think it is worth a little 10 minute trip to see it. It is sooooo worth it.

    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/16/08
I liked seeing the Liberty Bell. I saw it once while my ship (Navy) was inport there. I plan on taking my family there when the weather get better. It's a great piece of American history.
