By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/07
loved the liberty bell and historic area, back streets were awful experiance. the streets were nasty and the people were not nice at all, the bums were every where and askin for money to buy beer. i am a given person but not for that. if they want beer money they can work for it like me.
The museum appears to be a new addition and was attractive and set the mood for viewing and posing for a photo with the Liberty Bell.
Situated just across the street from its original bell tower in Independence Hall, the bell is prominently displayed and surrounded by displays and historical exhibits. Informative, although they caused foot ...
Seeing the bell up close was worth the hassle of going through the security process. The security process was no worse than what one goes through at the airport. A must see!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/22/07
I went on a week day and the line was not as bad as the other reviews said it would be. It took us 5 minutes. The security was pretty easy not nearly as bad as they said. Well worth the visit.

being a visitor in September 2006 the Liberty Bell was one of the first things I wanted to see. My sister and I went on Tuesday afternoon and it really wasnt that busy. We looked at all the displays and then we had our picture taken with the Liberty Bell. Be sure and visit the site. it is well worth it!!

If you're looking for something fun, do not go here. I suppose it's worth a look since it has to do with our country's history and all, but it's pretty much boring. It's the bell and not much else...
Security way to tight, nasty officers. A glass and marble environment (cold) for such national treasure set into a modern building with a security check in that looked like a temporary out house (those are the words of the Park Ranger that gave us directions) , no music or overhead historical mode setting acoustics, just go see it and get out of ...

Witness America's history through the eyes of the Liberty Bell
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/22/06
The only two things that I instantly recalled about the place is a little bell and the tight security. As one of the world's most famous symbols of freedom, the Liberty Bell has witnessed many historic events in America's struggle for liberty, and these colorful stories are explained in the exhibits leading up to the bell. The significance ...
