  • Too wild and loud--so supervison.
    By Christina, 08/09/09
We were just there on 8/6/09 and found the place to be very loud with lots of wild children and NO controll by the worker. Kids were running wild (mostly camp kids) and it is like there was no supervision and the workers just stood or sat around and did NOTHING when kids would run around, scream and cut in front of other visitors. We were ...

  • Star Trek "The exhibition"
    By Mike, 07/16/09
I liked the exhibts contained within the musuem; however, I didn't like not being able to take photos. I thought too that the exhibition should've been longer.
Over all the museum was terrific.

I like this place because they have a lot of neat things there and they mostly have things that most people would like and not just things that their intrested in.

  • Won't ever go back
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/15/07
Textbook case of bad service when my son attempted to ride the flight simulator (there's an extra fee). The other kid didn't take everything out of his pockets, and they stopped the ride after several seconds. We waited for them to restart, but instead, attendant demanded that my son pay all over again, and told us that if we wanted a ...

  • This is GREAT!
    By JJ, 08/21/06
We took our 4 1/2 and 7 year old boys here while visiting Philly...holy crap, this place is GREAT. Without a doubt, it was the best kids' science museum we've ever been to. We spent 6 hours there, and could've spent longer!

  • Ben Franklin must be turning over in his grave!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/28/06
This is a perfect example of what is wrong with museums and education in general today. You will mostly look in vain for period artifacts and I saw no artifacts belonging to Benjamin Franklin at all! There was even one eighteenth-century printing press pushed off to the side wall with no descriptions.

What you will find are hundreds of plastic ...

  • The Ultimate Science Museum
    By Scotty D., 09/28/05
I grew up a science geek and can honestly say that this is the ultimate science museum. There is plenty to see and do for all ages so parents, teens & preteens can find something they will enjoy. Most of the exhibits allows for hands-on learning and its not unusually to see a few adults trying out the experiments. Keep an eye for special ...
