  • Nice area, but feels like more swamp than park

    I liked the area around the lake and the flora and fauna, but I didn't like the swamp gas and some of the environmental issues that seemed to abound here.

    I love this place and highly recommend it. It is worth the drive and it's free.

  • Nice, but with too much urban noise and litter.

    The John Heinz Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum is a nice and quick getaway for the city dweller and the Cusano Center is very nice with it's interactive and educational displays. There are lots of activites to enjoy, such as fishing, biking, etc. Wildlife, such as turtles, rabbits, groundhogs and deer are plentiful in the park. The park is also ...
