I went here with two american guys I had met up with whilst on business in OKC. One had to leave the museum half way through due to the sorrow he was feeling. I was finding it very difficult too.......especially the room with with the victims pictures and there possesions. The picture of the baby with a pacifier next to it broke my heart. The ...

What a Site to See

This was even better than I thought. It is very touching and the city did a great job of remebering the people who lost their lives that day. The outside is so peaceful and pretty. Make sure to go to the indoor part it is wonderful.

Emotional journey

This is not a place to quickly stop by. There is so much symbolism in the design of the memorial, it is best to plan enough time to take it all in at your own personal pace. There are moments to talk and then those when just standing in silence is most appropriate. This place is one that I strongly recommend, but be prepared to come face to face ...
This was one of our scheduled stops on our weekend trip to OK. This memorial was beautiful and the feeling you get while you are there is indescribable. I took some fantastic photos, and enjoyed this stop extremely.
It was a very moving experience. An excellent memorial. Christmas time might not be the best time to visit because it is a very sobering place. I would recommend that everyone visit if they have a chance.
This was the highlight of our trip and something I will never forget. The geniuneness and helpfulness of the staff, the grief felt by the visitors, and the education of diversity, community and acceptance the musuem exemplifies is a great testimony to the city. Oklahomaians did themselves and their country proud.

beautiful and sad

It was hard to find but we finally found it after stopping at a gas station for directions. It was like 13 degress or something insane but it was great. The memorial is peaceful. We talked to one of the federal guards for a while about it. He told us some amazing and sad stories. The little chairs represent the children that were killed.

If you travel to Oklamoma City you must visit the National Memorial. This place will bring tears to your eyes. The people of Oklamoma City have done a wonderful job on this memorial. God Bless these people and the children who lost their life for this memorial.

I wasnt very old when it happened, but recall the events, Im from Texas and recently moved here, i cried so hard seeing the memorial, it was a good cry, something everyone should expirence, wonderful, and relaxing...a great place for closure, go through the tour, then come back later to see the memorial all lit up, and tell me that doesnt bring tears to your eyes whether you remember it or not....
This memorial is just breath taking. I don't think that I've ever seen anything quite like this. We are so happy that we took a side trip to go see this. We plan to return some day to tour the museum (it was just closing when we arrived).
