    I'm fortunate enough to live a couple of blocks away from Lake Hefner. The trails are great for walking and biking. It's a great place to sit and relax during the day. Birdwatching is fantastic.

    It's a wonderful time to go rollerblade, walk, or run. While doing that you get a beautiful veiw of the lake. Also great when the sun is going down sitting by the light house.

    9.1 miles around the lake on well designed trails, that's about a 45 minute bike ride (easy on the petals) but watch the wind as lake Hefner actaully sits on a hill! Thats why its so good for sailboat racing.
