This is an amazing place to discover and learn. It makes art amazing and special for even the youngest kids. There's also really famous paintings which makes going there an adventure. I love the art center and try to go there as much as i can

Everything is terrific. It's been a couple of years since I was there and I look forward to visiting again.

Anyone would enjoy the rich history they have in this museum.

  • Absolutely fabulous!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/19/07
The Cleveland Museum of Art astonished me with the range of its works, its ambiance, and the fact that it was free! On my way out, I put $20 in the collection box because I was so impressed, and would like this museum to continue its good work. I live in Paris, and regularly go to the Louvre, and I must say that this museum is one of the best I've been to!

Thank you Rockerfella. Cleveland has a great collection. You name an artist, Cleveland probably has at least one of their works. Plus, walk around the lagoon. It is so pretty int he spring and summer. To cold in winter. Hopefully it opesn soon after construction.

The Cleveland Art museum is one of the only free museums left. The facility is beautiful and inviting. Unfortunately, they are in the process of remodeling.

I liked the art and i liked that everything was spread out and not cramped together. nice variety of different art. Some people think art is boring but if you like art, i reccomend this museum. its very relaxing and has a nice garden in the back, too

  • a great museum
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
I moved from Cleveland about a year ago and really miss spending time at this museum. I found that I could easily spend a day in each of the sections of the museum and would go back regularly (at least once a month). I think someone with a gung ho passion for visual arts could seriously spend at least a couple of days venturing through all of ...

The Cleveland Museum of Art, a world-class museum with expansive collections from all time periods as well as tremendous archeological findings, is easily the best thing in Cleveland - and its free.

  • A must see/do when in Cleveland or in the University Circle neighborhood
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/21/05
The Cleveland Museum of Art is one of the finest art museums I have ever been to, and am shocked that more people don't give it the credit it deserves. I have visited the Prado in Madrid, the Louvre of Paris, the Uffizi in Florence, the Metropolitan in New York, the Vatican in Rome, and the National Gallery in DC. I am convinced the Cleveland ...
