I loved maid of the mist! I can't wait to go back! It's really loud and wet but its really fun! You get to go past the American Falls and then get so close to Niagra Falls, you get as wet (they provide ponchos) as if you were under it!

The first time was July 2002. We stayed on the American side..did Maid of the Mist from USA. Rode on the TOP....got very wet, nothing to hang on to and became quite dizzy from the waters. I lived in Niagara Falls for many years as a child.
Being a child and a local, I never even thought about getting on the Maid of the Mist.
Last July I went back and finally took my first trip on the boat.
It is a amazing experience and I highly recommend that everyone do this at least once. Cannot wait until I go back and do it again!

GREAT! We left from the US side and the trip was fantastic! The boat was full, but we had a great spot on the top deck right up front! We got just a little wet!

Going to the top is a lot of fun, but some may not be able to tolerate the thunder and spray
