    Th Cloisters should be a must for anyone looking for a secluded spot or quite day out in Manhattan.

    We took the M4 bus up there and it takes a while but goes thru some interesting neighborhoods. It also takes you right to the front door so hard to get lost.

    The Cloisters is a medieval museum located in one of the most pleasant and enjoyable parks in Manhattan, Ft Tryon Park. Because most Manhattanites can't visualize a Manhattan north of Harlem, this area is mostly used by those who live nearby.   • Best museum north of the park

    Unbelievable venue for one of the nation's great collections of medieval art. If you are completely unfamiliar it makes the subject interesting and penetrable.
