  • Too much variety
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/15/07
Times Square is a GREAT place don't get me wrong ... it just has too many options in which one cannot choose or decide what to do. Not many day trip choices either (full day events) I LOVE IT THOUGH!!!

  • many things to do..
    By Eric, 07/15/07
many stores to shop.. many theaters to see movies or plays..
however there are always too many people, very crowded all the times..
on New Year's day, there are hundreds of thousands people gathering together to see the ball drop from the Times tower..

  • only spend an hour or so here..
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/04/07
Times Sq is very crowded, the crowds never stop, but its pretty at night and its free, so its worth seeing.
Lots of bad chain restaurants and mall shops, eat and shop in another area.

See the lights and then leave..dont spend more than an hour or so here becuz you'l kick yourself later when you discover you couldve spent that time in great places like Central park, Rockefeller Center or the South seaport area.

  • A must see place in NY
    By Yogesh, 07/01/07
We were amazed at this place, it seemed as crowded as a carnival and the place so bright with all the lights, you can practically read a book in the middle of the road without any problem.

We went into Toy's R U right before dusk and when we came out of it, we were just amazed at it.

I bet you can power a medium sized town with the ...

Definitely go at night. All the advertisements just light up the whole block. There's people everywhere! It's just a little hard finding a parking. Good luck

  • Must be done
    By phil, 05/23/07
This is one of the things that must be on every travellers list of things to do and places to see. It is only another big city but every thing that you see seems so familiar from years of watching American TV. The steaming manhole covers, the lines of yellow cabs, glass valleys, the car horns and sirens, the hustle and bustle and the general feeling ...

  • Busy!!!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/24/07
This is not a place for the faint hearted!
Lots of people rushing about so mind you don't get pushed out of the way!
We found the people to be friendly and very helpful even though they were obviously busy.
It is a lot like London, just bigger!
    We will be back!
