I enjoyed my visit to this park although it was the middle of February and very cold. The park was very interesting with the statues and history.

Battery Park was beautiful and lots of fun when we went on the weekend. Tons of people and a festival type of atmosphere with food and craft vendors along the walk. Free, scenic, pleasant. Are these adjectives that appeal to you. Then look no further because Battery Park City is the place to be on a nice clear day. Visitors are on the water as the stroll along the walkway. On the other side a combination of beautifully built apartments, trees, dog parks, etc. A great place to go for a stroll, sit by the water and have a light lunch or dessert.
