it was a wonderful experience. I've tried to go three times before but it was never successful. YOU NEED TO BUY TICKETS IN ADVANCE. It saves you time in line. We even got to go to the crown which just reopened this past 4th of July!!!
This is a must see if you are going to be in the NYC area. I was informed by another traveler to buy my tickets online and was I ever glad I did. If you purchase "reserve tickets" online you get to skip past a long line and go directly to security. They are the same price however you have to say what time you will be there for it to be a ...

Cant wait to go back

My friends and i really enjoyed the statue of liberty along with the boat ride i will go back again and again
Whenever I take family to NYC to see the Statue of Liberty, instead of waiting in all the security line, I take them on the staton island ferry, its only a buck or two and you get a boat ride and go past the statue.

Don't wait in Line

If you really want to visit the statue buy your tickets in advance. The experience was a total waste after standing in line for almost 2 hours.

Totally would NOT go thorough ...

it was excelent wow i dig da statue its the best.want to go again just waiting to cash in on sum deals God is good God loves u all .
The ferry ride over is fun--but cold in the winter. The island is really nice and go ahead and take the museum tour (remember, tickets have to be purchased for this at least 2 days in advance). It's worth the 30-45 minute way due to security checks. The museum history is awesome and the observation deck is nice.
