  • AMAZING ART!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/08/07
I LOVED it. The first few floors were kind of boring, but the (temporary) photography exhibit fascinated me. I was speechless when we got to the upper floors and saw all of the Picaso, Van Gough, Dali, Warhol, Pollock, etc. Worth every penny.

  • A MUST See
    By Natasha C, 01/06/07
If you go on Friday its free because of Target. It can get a little crowded but you can still see everything. Regular price is about $20.00.

    Highlights:
    Dali "Perisstance of Memory"
    Van Gough "Stary Night"
    Ant painting....

If you get the "guided tour" with the audio wand dont forget to ask for your ID back. Sometimes they just ask you for the wand and don't remember to give you your ID back.

  • Come here only if you are an art buff
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/20/06
Not being an art buff, the exhibits in this museum did not interest me. So, come here only if you're into artistic paintings and objects.

  • teenage daughter enjoyed it
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/12/06
Spent half the day here, could have spent the whole day here. I was surprised that my 16 year old daughter, who was bored at the guggenheim, really enjoyed this place. The Munsch exhibit was good and I was surprised at the quality of paintings here. I would reccommend it.

  • Simply Brilliant
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/21/06
When I went to MOMA I was somewhat excited to see the museum, I'm not really into arts so I thought it would be fun but nothing amazing. I was wrong..just after spending a few minutes in there the inner artist in me began to truly appreciate that place.. it has amazing art by some of the best artists of all time. It is a bit surreal to stand ...

Visiting Mueums and writing about them is my passion. I visited MOMA in October 2001. I find the place easily accessable that is one pre-requisite for any museum to become the soul of the city. Undoubtedly the modernity lies in the naming of the MOMA itself. So you enter the museum with a mind to experience what has not been experienced by you in ...

  • phenomenal museum
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/18/05
the art in this building is astounding. so many important works are held at MoMA, i couldn't even begin to do the museum's collection justice by listing them here. some certainly provoke a reaction, but that's what are can and at times, should do. definitely worth a visit.

  • Neat and Spacious MOMA
    By Adekunle, 08/16/05
My experience at the Museum of Modern Art was terrific; the Architecture of the Museum facility is fantastic, the cleanliness and orderliness of the art works and master piece really amazed me. There is one thing that made me think that this museum is significant to the others and that is the neatness of this museum. This museum must have been ...

  • Spend a Day Here
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/19/05
The museum is now back in its renovated location at 53rd St. and while the admission is high ($20) that also includes any films or special events on the day the ticket is purchased. We came to see the special exhibit on Cezanne and Pisarro (comtempories who often painted the same scenes) and it was fabulous beyond words. We also loved the ...
