I was there for hours and still didn't see but maybe half of this museum, but it's truly a magnificent place to visit while in NYC. We were lucky enough to tour the Age of Rembrandt exhibit and it was truly amazing! If you have the time, you should definitely tour one of the many museums in NYC, and this is one of the best!

Met is a really really nice place but please don't be fooled by the admission prices displayed at the counters.. those are just SUGGESTIONS.. i repeat, SUGGESTIONS!!! this place is by donation only, so it doesn't matter how much you give, they'll still give you a pass.

It was very busy with an endless array of paintings and pictures that only hardcore artist would find interesting. 6 floors of endless people. I did not find it very interseting but it was very neat and had places to sit. I went on Target free Friday and it was packed to the MAX. It had people lined down the block. But there is no way I would pay $15.00 per person to see this museum. I would not recommend this.

You haven't lived until you have been to the Met. There is something there for everyone to enjoy. We planned to stay a few hours and remained until they closed the doors! Highly recommend this experience, but plan to stay longer than expected.

The Metropolitan Museum is definitely a must-see when you are in NYC. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are knowledgeable and professional. There is so much to see, however, that you'll have to plan to be there a number of hours if you want to take it all in. While you are there, don't miss the rooftop garden for a beautiful view of ...
