Felt like typical new york, and the best part was that central park was right outside.

The depth and breadth of the collection is a wonder. And the "pay what you wish" policy makes it the best entertainment (and educational) value anywhere.

I was really enjoying myself when we all, I mean everyone in the place, got kicked out "because there were too many people in the building". Too bad for us because we had only had an hour, and couldn't wait in line for another hour to get back in.
But it was good while it lasted.
I'm glad my friend made me try to give the whole place a quick look over before lingering in one place. I would have missed so much!

The MET is one of the greatest things to do in the city. It has a great collection of artwork and a large Egyptian collection which is one of my personal favorites.

Having been to many museums throughout the country and in Europe, the Metropolitan Museum of Art was by far the best I've seen in the U.S.
