It was amazing to walk into this place. Absolutely beautiful. We also were able to see a wedding take place and that was really touching. My husband and I were with our friends who are from NY and they loved seeing it too. And if you are seeing the city on a budget like we were stopping here won't hurt your wallet a bit. It is free to see. So add it to your list...it is worth it!
It was Saturday May 10th, 2008 about 3:30 pm and a Wedding was taking place. Visistors were still welcome. The interior awe inspiring beauty will abosrb you. You can pray to your Higher Power in this cathederal no matter whom you are. I recommend this visit, the Church is really smaller than the surrounding buildings - but the inside is taller.
This church is so magnificant. I went during Christmas time and I was so amazed at the gradeur of the church itself. Whether you are Roman Catholic or not; the church is a great place for art lovers to go and see. The church shows off great gothic architecture. This place is a must for any traveller.

I am not an extremely religious person, but I definately felt a sense of peacefulness and acceptance walking through this holy place. The architechture is unique and breathtaking. Each scene of the saints were ornately ...
This had alot of great art, the flying dove's (real dove's) the organ's. The masses, There was a .........Souviegner shop in a church which kinda made me wonder. But, I'm from the south where churches don't have them. Other than that, the experience is something I'll treasure. Went back in 2001 4 Months before Sept 11th.
