Wow - even impressed my husbandThis place is fantastic! Although during our visit the outside was under construction and didn't look impressive at all, you must go inside this gem and check out the main reading rooms on the 3rd floor. n y public libraryAs I do genealogy, the NY Public Library is about the best place for information. Of course, it is also free of charge and maintains it's records wonderfully. A beautiful building and comfortable surroundings in hectic New York.

What a Beautiful place!For something a little different to do, The NY public library was very neat. the architecture is simply beautiful, and going inside make you feel like you've stepped back in time, with the old style library desks and stone everywhere.
