This is a great place to relax and meet good people, you can count on them to always be open and to have the best Borsch in the city. This place is expically great on a cold winter day.

I was there recently and had a good experience although as I was getting out of the cold-plunge an older man who looked like a regular there was getting in. As he descended the steps, he held one nostril and blew out the other, right into the water. Needless to say, I took a shower right away and stayed away from the cold-plunge after that. Otherwise, the place was pretty clean and I had a good time.

Went on a Saturday night..place was packed...coed night...people covered with robes, shorts and bathing suits though in some cases, barely. A little old and dirty, especially the cold pool which was painfully good...but...cold. Steam, russian room, saunas all nice especially the stone Russian room. old ny charm at its best. old pix of old bathhouse folks, watching strong polush women give platza's is the best! that and the buckets of cold water. there should be more women only times.
