I LOVED THIS PLACE. Like in the other review my dad worked for Texaco in the late 1940's and all through the 1950's. His name was James Rodman, does anyone know him?

I love this place because my father used to work for Texaco back in the 1950's. He passed away in 1962 and I miss him so much. Everytime I see this building on TV I can say hey my dad used to work there! Kind of amazing don't you think?

The best art deco building in NYC
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/04
Though not as tall or famous as the Empire State Building, most true New Yorkers will tell you that the Chrysler Building is our pesonal favorite. From its high gloss aluminum spire to its art deco gargoyles, it is our prime example of architectural eye candy. And it is just a block from Grand Central Station out Beaux Arts Transit masterpiece.
