It was our first time in New York, we decided the we would have to try a horse drawn carriage through central park it was worth every penny because of the cold we had blankets over our knees the only draw back was having to wait so long for the carriage but it was an experience just to people watch 'FANTASTIC'

we spent 8 hours walking from end to end. NYC has really made an effort to preserve this treasure. don't miss the renovated ceramic tile "mall" that has been recently completed to reflect the 1890's. it's by the angel fountain.

Tehre was, what turned out to be the heaviest rainfall in 4 decades and that made the visit a bad experience. Sorry that I cannot be more positive about this trip, but there will be other and better occasions.
