Decided to go down to the empire state building on a Saturday evening around 9:30.
It was mobbed, and much more of an amusement park atmosphere than expected. We opted for the higher priced no waiting option and Boy! did we have an unforgettable evening. The more private elevator we were directed to made an abrupt stop and got "stuck" ...

With the WTC gone, the old Empire State is once again at the pinnacle of the NYC skyline. And, it's often lit up festively for holidays. Other than that, it's just your plain old skyscraper.

It's not the tallest anymore, but if you like movies, you've got to come up here just to see it for real.

The Empire State has a breathtaking view of the city. Their security officers were the utmost professionals who gave me a strong sense of safety.

If this is your first trip to the city then this has to be your first stop. It's a perfect way to see a whole view of this beauitful city. And also to see the history that this building has .

We waited in a huge line with our two sons. My husband got out of line to bring my youngest to the bathroom and found out he couldn't come back in the way he came out so got stuck waiting in the same line again. Just when you thought you were heading up to the top..there would be another waiting area.. My kids were so frustrated and in the end was not worth the tears.

If you are in New York City you have to go see it. Great experience! There is also great shops in the building for you to buy things. And there are great food places right around the courner and across the street.

Provides great view of the city. A little pricy so to get the best value you should visit on a warm sunny day. A rainy or cold weather will spoil the experience.

You have to go up at night its simply amazing the view you get. You will be talking about it during the whole of your trip so my advice is go on your last night.
