If you have a lot of time to kill and this is the first time for you to visit New York, then you can choose to visit Empire State Building standing in the low efficient lines for at least 40 minutes. The line can be short if they open the rest four windows of the total six. The view would be great if there were not rain or fog, which are hardly to realize. The price is too much.
If you like any movie where a kiss takes place (or is suppose to take place) on top of the Empire State Buidling... this is NOT TOO BE MISSED! The lines are dredful during the day but are quite a bit smaller. Manhattan is nice to see during the day... but magical at night when all the skyscrapers are a blaze... so obviously, my recommendation is to go at night (they are usually open until midenight) - a have a romantic kiss at the stroke of 12!
The view was amazing. WOW you could see everything, the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, New Jersey, the Chrisler building and more! You do have to stand in a long line though but it is constantly movine so it isnt that bad and the line takes about 30-45 minutes. I went at the perfect time, where when i got up there it was still light out but ...

The ...
The Empire state building is truly a world landmark, but the price you have pay to see it from the top is a rip-off. Once you get to the top the tugs in suits try to rip you even more. They give the 10% to 15% off coupons to the restaurant inside, but once you buy, you later realize the eastern guys who work there did not give you any discount at all.
If you enjoy heights there is no reason for you to dislike the Empire State Building's terrific view. However, they will try to snag you off the main line in order to get you to purchase a second ticket. The second ticket being to a motion simulated ride through New York, hosted by Kevin Bacon's voice recording. The ride is lousy, but the ...
Okay....I'm from Toronto canada, and not even the CN Tower has this much crazy security! Plus the CN tower has more room and is way taller!
I went up today on Friday, May 2005, and let me tell you, the lineup wrecked the experience for me. There were way too many people! I arrived at around 11 am and basically the crowds started right from ...
