Had heard good things, but the night that we went the piano player was arrogant, difficult, disinterested in playing anything suggested by the audience, and frankly just the sort of person we want to avoid when we go out for the evening.
A shame.
Nice venue, otherwise.
Thankfully, the city is large enough that we needn't return for a while.

Great times, good talent and hearty laughs

I could not agree more, I did get to hear the rubber duckie tribute and it was wonerful. It was so nice to see people having fun in a laid back atmosphere, it's a small little place but the staff and the costomers have so much fun. a MUST see if you are looking for a great time. The bartenders all have amazing voices and it makes you realize how close you are to Broadway. By far one of the highlights of my trip

It's been a while. I moved 2 years ago. These are details from then, as their web site is now defunct, I believe. But. At the time, Brandy's was THE place to hear exceptional voices gel the keys of a single piano in an uptown/upscale setting, without the upscale attitude. It is still there.... Joanna was a regular standout performer there, ...
