A lovely surprise: french cuisine hidden in a patio on Chelsea. Our party of four tried the steak, hamburger, chicken and herbed pork chop with rave reviews by every diner. The coconut frosting cake sent us to heaven twice, and the peach cobbler made us all stop talking. This restaurant was a real treat we'll all try again and again.

Food-superb! Service - excellent. Great value for the quality. I even confronted the owner (Marciel) about the negative review and he was VERY professional - didn't miss a beat. I don't know where the negative review came from, but I think this place is fantastic. I honestly think that people would not recommend just to keep the crowds ...

Just went to Antique Cafe and had a great time. First of all, the food was delicious (my boyfriend had the burger and I had the tilapia). We were impressed with the beer and wine list - some unique and delicious options. We finished up by sharing a great desert. There was a great vibe in the restaurant - everyone was friendly and helpful. I look forward to going back soon.

Great food, friendly staff, lively and sleek atmosphere... The Antique Cafe Chef salad and the half chicken both made me weep with joy. Will definitely be back. we love the patio great for summer!

I've been for the wine tasting with a few friends and a weekend brunch with the boyfriend and had a wonderful experience both times. The service, food and atmosphere were all well above average. I highly recommend this restaurant! .

My friends and I had a great time and the food was fabulous. You have to get what I think were hamburger with pomme frites. I wish we had had room for dessert.

I can always count on Antique Cafe for a great meal. Last time i ordered the Chef's salad, which was fantastic. and they carry a good selection of desserts (The pineapple upside down cake). Love it. Such a great menu I never know what to order but the hungarian mushroom soup is a must (i'm so happy its back on the menu)!

We just got into town and were headed to "The Garage" (fantastic) but wanted to eat first. I actually looked up the restuarant online and read good things but these were obviously not about the location on 27th street. Service was terrible, it must have been our waiters first day at food service. Food looked good if we could have ...

We just LOVE this restaurant. The steak frites is fabulous. The service is wonderful. Great place to unwind and escape. Great place for a romantic dinner. Also went with a group of 12 and they handled it very well and it was nice that it is separated from main dining area. Small and intimate but they break up the space nicely. The food and wine are outstanding. Definitely one of the best in Chelsea New York
