I made reservations on the 16th of August to ride on the the train on the 28 of August. My wife and I traveled from Dallas Fort Worth area to Santa Fe and went to pick up our tickets. The clerk said "the train is not running today" and " they cancled it a couple of days ago, didn't someone call you". They had not.

Having spent the last year travelling the world on my own, I have seen many interesting, exciting places but none as peaceful, breath taking and magical as my train ride from Santa Fe to Lamy. Weather was extremely beautiful, scenery was so rugged and wild and best of all, the staff on my train ride were so welcoming, informative and ever so helpful! This train ride is a must for anyone visiting Santa Fe!!
