  • Very interesting
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/18/09
On the day we went there, Max Early was there giving a demonstration as well as information on pottery making. Also, Native Americans performed some dances; modern as well as ancient. The narrator/singer gave great historical information - Very interesting!! Well worth the visit.

  • A good place to visit
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/12/06
I wasn't sure about The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center since we had already visited the Taos Pueblo, and others a couple of days before. The Center was a great visit though. The museum that is in the basement is very good and puts the history in a logical order with great exhibits....the place is full of shopping especially during the balloon ...

  • In Tune With the Past
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/14/06
I loved this place! Walking through the gift shops (and buying a lot of jewelry), the museums and looking at the past and objects collected from the past and on view, was such a delight. Dining there was so cozy, that before you left, you knew your neighbors and where they were from. I had so much fun watching the Indian dancers, do their native ...

  • Well worth the trip!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/01/06
I have visited the Cultural Center many, many times and have never been disappointed. It is the best source in Albuquerque, with the best prices (in my opinion) for authentic Native American made jewelry. The restaurant has delicious fair, also! I have found the employees to be friendly, helpful and it is sheer joy for me to visit and share the ...

The Culture Center has something for everyone: Authentic Native American Restaurant, Gift Shop with a well stocked bookstore of several topics of Native American Culture.

Many pueblos do not allow photos and video to be taken of their dancers. At the Culture Center visiting drummers and dancers can be freely photographed.

    There are live ...

  • A Necessary Visit
    By Carlos, 08/27/05
I think the best part of a visit here is that you get a perspective on history that you won't find in most history books. It's a good eye opener for people who aren't to familiar with Native American history and culture.

  • Must see at the beginning of visit
    By B., 07/31/05
This museum really was wonderful. The restaurant was also very good. We were able to really get an overview of the Pueblo Culture prior to visiting one of the pueblos. This is a must see place for visitors to Albuquerque.

  • Wish I had more space!
    By Lisa D, 05/19/05
I wish I'd had more space to take things back in my suitcase! I bought a fairly large bronze statue here at a killer price. The lady packaged it for me, so I could mail it. Unbelievably careful packaging! Lots to see, clean & friendly. I must have gone in the 'off season' because I had no trouble getting into the parking lot.

  • Great to see
    By Denise, 04/30/05
The center is wonderful. Although it is full of shopping it also has alot of wonderful displays showing the fine work of local tribes. Go right to the information lady. They have some great insights.
